Along the Puget Sound coast, you can see sea stars, urchins, anemones, scallops, rockfish, and ling cod that can grow up to five feet long, and even sharks! In fact, Redondo Beach is known as the Sixgill Shark Capital of the World because it's one of the only places you can spot these gentle giants (don't worry, they don't attack people). Saltwater State Park is also a popular destination for divers because it's the only state park with an underwater artificial reef.
