  • Walkability: Downtown Burien is considered to be the third most walkable city in Washington state. It's noted for its boutique retail, abundance of restaurants, and the Highline Heritage Museum. You can enjoy shopping, cultural activities, and food from all around the world.

La pescadería de Burien

Originally, owners Van and Manda served their delicious menu from their food truck before they opened The Burien Fish House restaurant. Now, they are serving their tasty menu in a small, casual restaurant with an old school sailormen’s décor and very friendly atmosphere that offers a counter-serve kitchen featuring fish & chips, fish tacos, sandwiches, and chowder.

Recommendations: Seafood Chowder, shrimp or lobster Mac & Cheese, halibut, prawns, and habanero and jalapeno tartar sauce.

Cocina mediterránea de Marlaina

Marlaina's es un restaurante cómodo y colorido con cocina abierta. El ambiente cálido, los tapices de colores y el amplio espacio entre las mesas contribuyen a crear un ambiente más tradicional de Mesopotamia y te trasladan a un lugar diferente para que disfrutes de una experiencia increíble.

Osteria Da Primo

Carlo Guida, chef y propietario, creció en un pequeño pueblo de montaña en Italia y pasaba la mayor parte del día con su abuela, a la que veía cocinar, hasta que un día fue capaz de recrear la comida que tanto le gustaba.

Después de algún tiempo, Carlo y su mujer Lindsay abrieron Osteria Da Primo en el destino gastronómico de Burien para servir pasta fresca, pizza al horno de leña, marisco, bistec y vino italiano. Con su ambiente encantador y su cocina tradicional italiana, le espera una experiencia muy gratificante y relajante.

Museo del Patrimonio de Highline

The Highline Heritage Museum helps tell the stories of Seattle Southside. This new museum creates exhibits and educational programs about our shared heritage. It's a great place to discover a bit of history and enjoy all that Burien has to offer.
